Last week, 4 mathematicians in Year 4 took part in the Herts Education Year 4 Maths Challenge. They worked very well as a team and demonstrated excellent maths skills. As a team they scored 130 points out of a possible 165 points. This meant they scored above average out of all of the schools who took part. We are very proud of their success!
Year 3 had a fantastic vist to The Chiltern Open Air Museum yesterday -they loved learning about the Iron Age. Jade class, were able to take Attendance Ted with them because they won him last week. He also loved exploring and learning alongside the children.
We have been able to present our first 2 Learning Superheroes of this academic year - congratulations to Lola and Timeea in Year 6! I am sure there will be more superheroes on the way soon.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Residents are being invited to donate children’s bikes at a special collection event taking place on Monday 25 May, from 10.30am to 12.30pm, at the Sports Pavilion, Tithe Farm Road, Houghton Regis (LU5 5JF).
The initiative aims to give pre-loved bikes a new lease of life by passing them on to local children who might not otherwise have access to one. The collection builds on the success of previous events, which have already helped distribute around 25 bikes to local schools and young people.
Clare Lewis, Headteacher at Lime Tree Academy said: “I can’t thank you enough on behalf of the children. Your generosity has been amazing. The bikes are used on the field at lunchtimes, and Bikeability training has been very successful. We’re now looking forward to ‘learn to ride’ sessions.”
This latest collection is focused solely on children’s bikes, ensuring more young people can benefit from safe, accessible cycling opportunities.
