To get a 7-8 band, you need to:
I have clearly stated, what I aim to learn through the personal project.

I have included explicit reasons or causes for this connection, such as my personal interest, a Global Context, Unit of Inquiry, or Service as Action.
I have provided detailed evidence, including examples, to support my personal interest.
A clear statement outlining what the student aims to learn or accomplish in the personal project.
A written reflection explaining the student's personal interest, including specific reasons for choosing the goal, and how it connects to their interests or passions.
Examples of prior experiences, hobbies, or achievements related to the student’s interest, demonstrate why the learning goal is relevant to them.
References to preliminary research, articles, or case studies that reinforce the relevance of the learning goal to the student's personal interest.
I have clearly stated what my product is.
I have multiple relevant success criteria (at least 4) for the product, such as function, aesthetics, design features, and cost.
I have detailed each success criterion, defining the specific characteristics of a high-quality product.
I have justified each success criterion with an explanation of why it is appropriate, supported by reasons or research.
A clear, concise statement defining the intended product.
Success Criteria List – A document listing multiple, specific success criteria (e.g., function, aesthetics, design, cost).
Detailed Criteria Explanations – Descriptions outlining what each success criterion entails, with clear quality indicators for each.
Research Summary or Justifications – Evidence of research or reasoning explaining the relevance of each success criterion (e.g., user needs, design standards).
I have presented a detailed plan for achieving my product.
The plan is broken down into logical steps (e.g., tasks and subtasks).
Each task includes approximate dates for completion (e.g., mid-October).
There is a strong focus on the product throughout the plan.
The plan clearly links to all success criteria, demonstrating how each step meets them.
A clear, organized list of tasks and subtasks, showing the progression needed to complete the product.
A timeline that includes approximate completion dates for each task or milestone (e.g., mid-October for research, November for initial product design).
Descriptions of each step in the plan that highlight how they contribute directly to achieving the product
Connect the relevant Success Criteria to each step in the plan
Note: Your action plan should include only the steps for completing your product, not your learning goal. ie do not state you met with your supervisor.
