Faculty need multiple critical accounts to work and teach. Here's what you need to get your accounts created.
UCLA ID: After you sign your contract and submit all of your employment documents, the TFT Academic Personnel (AP) Office will issue you a 9-Digit UCLA ID. This number will be on your ID card, payroll statement and is your permanent ID number with the university. You should already be in contact with your AP Manager, but contact your assigned Academic Personnel Manager, if you have not yet received your ID.
UCLA Logon: Your UCLA Logon ID allows you to access MyUCLA, course websites, and UCLA’s Zoom. Once you have your UCLA ID, create your UCLA Logon ID username and password.
Click "Create a UCLA Logon ID". The UCLA Logon ID you create will be your @ucla.edu email address.

Multi-factor Authentication (MFA): For convenience, we recommend configuring your smartphone as your MFA security authentication device; although you may also use your landline. Visit https://www.it.ucla.edu/iamucla/enroll-multifactor for instructions on how to activate UCLA's MFA.
Identity and Accounts Manager: Identity and Accounts Manager lets you review your personal information, as well as manage security settings, privacy settings, and services associated with your UCLA Logon ID.
Sign in to https://accounts.iam.ucla.edu
Click My Personal Information, and make a note of your “Relationship to the University.” If it does not say Employee or Faculty, email helpdesk@tft.freshservice.com and provide them with your “eduPersonPrincipalName (EPPN).” This usually happens when your appointment is set in the future. Some UCLA Services will not be available to you until then, so we need to expedite the activation.
Campus Directory: Contact your Department Manager/MSO in Theater or in FTVDM and request that they add you to the campus directory. The additions to Campus Directory are not immediately reflected as these are processed nightly. Once you exist in the campus directory you can proceed to access your class website, Zoom class and other campus tools.
UCLA Zoom: You may need Zoom to teach or meet with your students. Activate your UCLA Zoom account.
Sign in to https://ucla.zoom.us.
Click Log in to Zoom. Your UCLA Logon ID and your MFA device are required during this process.
Bruin ID: For an official UCLA ID card, visit the Bruincard Center.
