Studio Art 7/8 is an introductory course that gives students a strong foundation in the visual arts while encouraging curiosity, creativity, and confidence. Students will explore drawing, painting, color, mixed media, printmaking, and sculpture while learning the elements of art and principles of design. Through hands-on projects, students will develop observation, craftsmanship, creative thinking, and responsible studio habits while making connections to artists, art history, and cultures from around the world.
