Art 1 

Art 1 introduces students to the foundations of visual art through drawing, painting, color, printmaking, mixed media, design, and sculpture. Students will learn to observe carefully, develop technical skills, practice craftsmanship, and make thoughtful creative choices while exploring artists and artistic traditions from throughout history. Through practice, experimentation, and reflection, students will build confidence and grow as artists and creative thinkers.
