AP 2-D Art & Design
AP 2-D Art & Design is a rigorous, college-level course for motivated students who are ready to develop their artistic skills, ideas, and personal voice. Students will explore drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, digital media, collage, and mixed media while applying the principles of 2-D design to increasingly independent work. Through inquiry, experimentation, critique, revision, and reflection, students will develop a sustained body of artwork that demonstrates strong concepts, thoughtful composition, craftsmanship, and personal expression while preparing a portfolio for AP submission.
