Ms. Gobel-Lynch graduated summa cum laude from the University of Texas at Arlington with an honors Bachelor of Arts in History, and concurrent minors in Medieval Studies, Latin, and French in 2014. She earned her Master of Arts in Medieval Studies from the Medieval Institute of Western Michigan University, where she also taught undergraduate courses both online and in person for two years. Ms. Gobel-Lynch earned her Teaching Certificate through Texas Wesleyan University. She has taught English Language Arts & Reading at the Leadership Academy of Forest Oak since 2017 and has been a Master Teacher for the ELAR Department since 2019
Mrs. Lechette Walker will be a 1st year teacher in English Language Arts and Reading for 7th grade at Forest Oak Leadership Academy. She has a background that includes working with children and inspiring children to achieve academic success. She is from Jackson, MS and has been in Texas for 16 years. As a wife, mother, and teacher she is committed to student achievement and growth. Her teaching philosophy is conveyed in this quote by William Ward, "The mediocre teacher tells. The good teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates. The great teacher inspires."
Ms. Mayfield is a first-year teacher and new to Fort Worth ISD. She graduated Cum Laude from the University of North Texas in May 2020 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education . She has always had a heart from helping young minds meet their full potential inside and outside the classroom. She is excited about the 2020 - 2021 school year and can't wait to see what it brings.
Mrs. Carter Brown is new to Fort Worth ISD, and the Leadership Academy at Forest Oak. She has been teaching ELAR for the past 4years, in Crowley ISD inspiring young minds, and helping them to achieve academic success. Mrs. Carter Brown is a California native, but has lived in Texas for the past 13 years with her husband and son. She considers herself, a continual learner, and will always strive for Excellence, as “Only Excellence Will Do!
