Spoken Content is a collection of text-to-speech settings on the iPad that allows students to have the iPad read selected text or the whole screen out loud.
While reading, it can highlight words, sentences, or both to help the student follow along. Students can also hear letters and words as they type on the keyboard and tap to hear words in the word prediction.
Spoken Content supports students to:
build independence
strengthen comprehension and fluency
boost confidence with reading
improve pronunciation
increase focus and attention
learn new words
