Chromebooks can be set up to be controlled using switches for students with fine motor challenges. Switches are a form of Alternate access devices that are designed to make technology accessible to everyone of all abilities.
Switch Access can support students to:
use the Chromebook without using a mouse or the trackpad
choose items on the screen by activating a switch (ex., right arrow to turn the page of a book)
set up Switch Control to make the Chromebook work best for them
