WRAP UP........
I wanted to thank all my girls who came to basketball this year. It's amazing to see such interest in the sports that I offer, and it's really a blessing to be at a place where my girls feel comfortable to step into something that's foreign to them. We certainly were champions of the day in spirit.
Thank you to all you parents as well. I know I ask alot. Getting them to me for 7:45am isn't easy, I'm certain. But it's really the favourite part of all our days, and a time that we cherish.
And to all of you for coming to our exhibition game, and tournament. The support I get at Gledhill doesn't happen everywhere.

Wednesday, November 19th
Adding another practice tomorrow am.
Monday, November 17th
We decided at practice this morning, that it was best that only the tournament team play tomorrow in our exhibition match vs Withrow. Girls will be asked to come down to the gym zone by their teachers around 3pm to prepare for the game.
Wednesday practice is open to all girls.
Sunday, November 16th
Practice tomorrow morning. All are welcome!
Withrow exhibition game after school on Tuesday. Girls will be asked to come to the gym and be ready to go for whenever Withrow can get to us. Likely a 3:30pm start time, and will last for an hour.
Parents are welcome to watch.
If permission form on EMA has not been completed, please do so right away! Without permission, they will not be allowed to play in our exhibition match.

Thursday, November 27th tournament at Chester - all day
Schedule of tournament posted below. Tournament team is asked to arrive at 8am. Make sure to bring/wear athletic clothing, water bottles, snack/lunch. The team will take the TTC to Chester, and arrive back to Gledhill at approx 3:15pm.
THE FOLLOWING GIRLS HAVE MADE THE TOURNAMENT TEAM THIS YEAR.

ANYONE THAT DID NOT MAKE THE TOURNAMENT TEAM IS ENCOURAGED TO COME TO EVERY SCHEDULED PRACTICE. IF ANYONE IS SICK, OR INJURED AND CANNOT TRAVEL TO CHESTER ON THE 27TH, I WILL REPLACE THEM WITH SOMEONE FROM OUR PRACTICE SQUAD.

Monday, November 10th
I have added a 3rd tryout for tomorrow morning. I will have doors open at 7:45am. Hoping to have everyone there at that time, ready to tryout for 8am.
This morning I had 22 girls. WOW!!!! Love it.
I will take 10-12 for the tournament team that will travel to Chester on the 27th to compete in our tournament, and invite everyone else to continue to come to all practices as part of our practice team. If someone on the tournament team is sick or injured, I will replace them from the practice team players.
Exhibition game is scheduled for Nov 18th, 4pm at Gledhill. All tournament and practice team members are welcome.
NOVEMBER 4TH
I HAD OUR FIRST MEETING TODAY WITH ALL GIRLS INTERESTED IN TRYING OUT FOR THIS YEAR'S BASKETBALL TEAM.
TRYOUTS WILL TAKE PLACE AT 8AM ON:
THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 6TH AND MONDAY, NOVEMBER 10TH
PLEASE MAKE SURE PERMISSION HAS BEEN COMPLETED THROUGH "EMA". IF YOU NEED SUPPORT WITH THIS, I HAVE INCLUDED AN EMA TAB ON MY WEBSITE TO GUIDE YOU.
FOR THOSE THAT MAKE THE TEAM, I WILL POST A PRACTICE SCHEDULE, AND ALL OTHER INFORMATION HERE. PLEASE ALSO REFER TO MY CALENDAR.
