May 28th
Great tournament yesterday. Don't even really have to say much. Your athletes have bought into this team for 2 years, and it showed on the pitch. Very happy to see them have some success.
First step is done.
Step 2 is to beat Kew one more time on June 3rd. Going to need some help with rides, because I have to stay for the day, and once their 9am game is over they would need to get back to school.
Thank you to all parents who were able to attend. Always feel the support from Gledhill families. Appreciate you all.

LOOKS LIKE NICE WEATHER ON TUESDAY FOR OUR LAST PRACTICE. WE'VE BEEN AT THIS FOR 2 YEARS.....THE TEAM IS READY!
ARRIVE 7:45 WEDNESDAY FOR THE TOURNAMENT. WE WILL TTC TO KEW BEACH. HOME BY THE END OF SCHOOL.
JUST IN CASE WE MAKE THE JUNE 3RD CONFERENCE FINALS AND THE JUNE 8 CITY FINALS, I'M POSTING THE SCHEDULE HERE. I KNOW SOME OF YOU HAVE OTHER ATHLETES AT DA THAT COULD ALSO MAKE IT, SO THIS MAY HELP.
FRIDAY, MAY 15TH
HERE IS THE SCHEDULE FOR OUR MAY 27TH TOURNAMENT AT PANTRY PARK.
I'LL DO WEDNESDAY AND FRIDAY PRACTICES 7:45 NEXT WEEK. TRYING TO GET AN EXHIBITION GAME WITH SECORD TOO.

Sunday, May 10th
Thank you to all of the rugby players that continue to come out to practice each day. As mentioned to our student athletes, everyone is welcome to practice every day. Happy for everyone to come each day, and to enjoy some early morning exercise.
Our tournament team will consist of the following students. The following students will play May 27th at Pantry Park (Kew Beach). Should we come 1st or 2nd, we will play for the South finals on June 3rd at Pantry Park. If we win that game, we will represent the South at the City finals on June 8th.

Our girls have sprints and relay tryouts before school tomorrow, so I will push our next rugby to next week.
April 26

Lots going on with track and field tryouts, ultimate frisbee, and rugby. We are doing our best to make sure we can offer as much as possible. Please advise your athlete to check in with coaches regarding practices and tryouts, and if they need to miss one thing to go to another. Communication is key right now.
APRIL 24
Rugby
RUGBY TRYOUTS are continuing next week on Monday and Friday. I will post the team after that. Our tournament is set for May 27th, likely at Pantry Park (Kew Beach).
As this is a co-ed team, I will be looking for approx 5 athletes of each gender to make up the team.
Conference championships June 3.
City championships June 8.

Our tournament date is set for May 27th. Tryouts begin next week. Please make sure you give permission through EMA. The team is up and ready to go!

I WILL ONCE AGAIN HAVE A FLAG RUGBY TEAM THIS YEAR. THIS IS A GRADE 5 CO-ED TEAM, WITH GRADE 4'S ALSO ABLE TO TRY OUT. TRYOUTS WILL TAKE PLACE WEEK AFTER NEXT BEFORE SCHOOL, AND WILL BE POSTED HERE AS WELL AS ON MY CALENDER. PERMISSION WILL BE DONE ON EMA, SO PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE GIVEN PERMISSION BEFORE TRYOUTS.
