TRACK AND FIELD

It was raining on my way into school this am, and I don't want any injuries due to slick field. I'd like to move hurdles to tomorrow at 8am, Friday May 29.

May 25th

Here is a copy of the Conference Championship Meet schedule for June 2nd at Birchmount.

May 20th

All athletes attended a meeting today at lunch. Jerseys were handed out. Please be here at 8am, we leave at 8:30am on TTC.

1200m athletes are arriving first and parents have been contacted.

Mr. Webb has 4 new Gledhill toques to sell anyone interested. Cost is $20 each. First 4 to come tomorrow with $20 get one.

Wednesday, May 6

Hurdles for this morning will be moved to tomorrow morning due to rain and poor field conditions.

OUR HURDLES HAVE NOT ARRIVED YET. THERE WILL BE NO HURDLE TRYOUTS UNTIL THE ORDER GETS TO GLEDHILL. MR WEBB WILL POST THE INFORMATION HERE WHEN THEY COME IN AND INFORM STUDENTS AT SCHOOL OF THE TRYOUT DATE AND TIME.

APRIL 24

Track and Field

Try-outs begin next week.  This is a reminder to please fill out the permission form on EMA if you have not already done so.  There will be daily announcements to remind students of tryout times and locations and the schedule will be posted in the main office as well as by the gym.  Mr. Webb also has the schedule and important information on his website.  Any students interested in being a part of the relay teams must also go to the 80m try-outs.  The following schedule is subject to change depending on weather, so students need to ensure they listen to the daily announcements. We are excited to begin another season!

MR WEBB HAS ORDERED HURDLES, BUT AS OF FRIDAY PM, THEY HAVE NOT ARRIVED. STUDENTS WILL BE INFORMED REGARDING TRYOUTS IF THEY NEED TO BE CHANGED, AND THE SCHEDULE WILL BE ALTERED HERE ASAP.
