Non-repairable obsolete TDSB computers, peripherals, electronic equipment and other technology items should be disposed of as follows:
Please hold on until you have a minimum of 25 items
Equipment is to be stored in the shipping/receiving area prior to submitting this request
Please provide an itemized list of equipment as well as attach a photo (if possible) once the equipment is in the shipping/receiving area
IT Services will review, advise and possibly redistribute any items that are of use and/or supported
Once review is completed an e-mail will be sent instructing of next steps
Items requiring disposal will be securely destroyed, including all data

The Occupational Health and Safety Office is responsible for managing Board-generated hazardous wastes. Hazardous wastes are those materials that may be injurious to persons or the environment if not handled and disposed of properly.
These include:
1) Classroom-generated waste
For disposal of classroom generated waste (i.e., chemistry and biology chemicals including dissection waste) and/or to request additional waste containers, please complete and email this form to Occupational Health & Safety OccupationalHealth&Safety@tdsb.on.ca.
This service is provided at no cost to the school.
2) General school waste
For disposal of all school generated hazardous waste, including caretaking waste (i.e., waxes. cleaners, disinfectants) complete and email this form to Occupational Health & Safety OccupationalHealth&Safety@tdsb.on.ca.

Community hazardous waste collection events are not supported by the Board. Instead, community hazardous waste should be taken to one of the City’s seven drop-off depots or Community Environment Days.
