If you have not created a password before, please use the following default password or Shared Secret Password:

The Shared Secret Password is SSSSDDMM@Tdsb

1. SSSS = Last 4 digits of student number 

2. DD = 2 digits for day of birth 

3. MM - 2 digits for month of birth

THE STEPS 

Step 1: Open your “Google Chrome” browser

Step 2: In the address bar, type aw.tdsb.on.ca

Step 3: Enter your “username” (9-digit student number without ‘–’) and temporary “password” as shown above.

Step 4: Then, it will prompt you to create a “New Password” (minimum of 8 characters) and then re-enter the same password again in “Confirm New Password” and click “Change Password”.

Step 5: Acess your gmail accoount by gowing into aw.tdsb.on.ca and clicking 'Mail'. We also have the option of clicking on 'Google Apps' or 'Resources'. 

Step 6: Click on your profile which is on the top right corner to see how your email is supposed to look 

For students it looks a bit different: firstname.lastname@student.tdsb.on.ca 

Ensure that you are always using Google Chrome and that all other google accounts (personal) have been logged out of and that history has been deleted prior to logging into the TDSB account. Not doing so - can prevent you from accessing shared google documents and assignemnts sent to you by your teacher in both Brightspace and Google Classroom.  

Microsoft Authentication 

Authenticating your account ensures that nobody else can access your work, email or other private information so make sure to complete this step! 

You have many different options to authenticate your account, but a common way is to download the 'Due Mobile' app on your phone.
