A love that was short lived
A love that was trying to defy the odds
The odds of hate
The hate between the montague and the capulet
A love full of tragedy with death and banishment
Both side losing a close one
A love that’s unmatched
A love at first glance
The glance of one another
Like 2 magnets
Their hearts were drawn together
But like magnets
They have two sides that don’t attract
One being a montague and the other being a capulet
An ancient grudge that comes between the two
But this doesn’t stop too the young lovers
As Romeo writes his thought
His thoughts about love sitting down in the heat of the sun as he writes
“Love is a smoke made with fume of sighs being purged, a fire sparkling in lovers eyes” (1.1.184-185)
As Romeo sees Juliet for the first time
The young lover is surprised by the beauty of young Juliet
As he cannot believe in such beauty
He lets his heart take over
The young lover goes back
Goes to the capulet mansion
Goes to his family enemies
All just for love
But to his luck he finds his lover
As his lover Juliet stands on the balcony
The young lover could not believe that such beauty can exist
As he takes every glimpse of her as the moon shines upon her lighting up her beauty.
Listening to all the beautiful words she’s reciting
“O Romeo, Romeo! wherefore art thou Romeo?
Deny thy father and refuse thy name;(2.2.35-38)
Or, if thou wilt not, be but sworn my love,
And I’ll no longer be a Capulet.”
With Juliet unaware of the presence of her love
Young Romeo felt the need to make his presence felt
Upon listening to his lover reciting words for him
He can’t bare but make his presence felt to her
As the two lovers touch and feel the glimpse of one another
None want to let go
None wants the other to leave
As they hold each other tight with their eyes forecasting love and affection for one another
They agree to forever love each other but
Will it last I guess will see
As Friar Laurence agrees to marry them
Will they live a happy ending as their love desires
I guess we’ll see
As tho Friar Laurence isn’t the only one who knows of this marriage the nurse helps Juliet
Our younger lovers get together
They are bonded in the holy way as they get married
But Tybalt disapproves he challenges and starts a fight
As two souls are lost
Mercutio dies in the arms of Romeo
“A plague o' both your houses
They have made worms' meat of me” (3.1.101-102)
With anger and sadness for a lose
Young Romeo seeks revenge
Kills Tybalt in the revenge
The prince and the two families who hates one another
Capulete and montague arrive too late
Late to find two souls from their houses taken
As young Benvolio explains what happened
The prince banishes Romeo
And the news of the banishment breaks out
The nurse hurry’s to young Juliet
As the young Juliet learns she lost her cousin
In the hands of her new husband
Young Juliet sends a message through the nurse
As the young lovers get together for their wedding night
Young Juliet is filled with tears as her new husband has to leave at first sight of sunrise
Young Juliet thinks the life she badly wants is over
Her eyes refuse to see the man she loves go so they blur the memory with tears.
As the lady capulet walks in and hear young Juliet in tears
She gives her good news about how she’s marrying the young paris
Little did the lady capulet know young Juliet was already married
Married to her true love young Romeo
In desperate young Juliet seeks to Friar Laurence for help
As he gives her a poison that will put her in a deep sleep to make it seem as if her soul is lost
As if she died to escape the unwanted marriage with Paris and reunite with her true love Romeo
Upon hearing this young Romeo due to little miscommunication
He goes to an apothecary who sells him poison
As young Romeo ask for something that will kill him quickly
He Sets on to go to the laying place of her love
As young Romeo sees and kisses his lifeless wife
“Here’s to my love! O true apothecary, Thy drugs are quick. Thus with a kiss, I die.” (5.3.120-121)
Young Romeo kills himself as he can’t bare living without his beloved wife
As young Juliet wakes up to find her one true love
Her husband dead besides her with an empty bottle of poison besides him
“What’s here? A cup, closed in my true love’s hand?
Poison, I see, hath been his timeless end.
O churl, drink all; and leave no friendly drop
To help me after! I will kiss thy lips.
Haply some poison yet doth linger on them,
To make me die with a restorative.” (5.3.167-172)
Upon kissing her true love she realizes the severity of the situation
Taking her soul
Killing herself with young Romeo’s dagger
Love cannot last among hate
Leading to desperation and acts not well thought over
In a world where 2 loves couldn’t defy the odds of hate
The hate of their families
One being a montague and the other being a capulet
A love without a happy ending
A love with a tragic ending of death
One can hope
Their souls are together in the afterlife.
