Bookmark Contests

Bookmark contests continue to be hugely popular at Brock. It's not unusual for there to be 60+ submissions! There are typically 3 contests per year, each with a specific theme.

Voting in five grade categories (FDK, grades 1-2, grades 3-4, grade 5-6, grades 7-8) takes place over a few days. Each participate receives a certificate and their own design back as a bookmark. Winners receive a certificate, enough of their designs for their whole class, as well as their bookmarks available in the library for whoever needs one. Over the years, Ms. Kondo and her husband have gotten very good at using the paper cutter. :)

Our students are extremely talented and the quality of submissions has just gotten better as the years go by. We are so excited to find a way to bring back these contests this year!
