Anti-lockdown protestors have been returning to Queen’s Park every Saturday since April 25th in hopes of ending the lockdown. As of March 20, 2020, Ontario went under lockdown measures to counteract the further spread of COVID-19, a virus that has been spreading globally.

Amongst the 63 Canadian victims of the plane crash outside Iran’s capital on January 8th, the Toronto District School Board was devastated to learn that several of its own students were killed in the fatal flight.

As of November 4th, 2019, the use of personal cell phones has been banned inside classrooms across Ontario.
