Why The Owl House Deserves a Full Season Three
Although it is wonderful news that The Owl House is coming out with Season Three, fans have been outraged at how Disney cut the show from a typical season of twenty episodes to just three. As a result, episodes that were formerly twenty minutes are now forty minutes. With only these three episodes concluding the show, viewers are concerned there won’t be enough time to wrap up the heartfelt plot and characters the show has created.

For the past few years, online learning has become increasingly common. All parties involved have expressed their worries. Social media and news outlets have covered this topic at length, which sparks the question: is online learning just as effective as in-person?

Burnout as a High-School Senior
Without even noticing it, I soon fell into a state where I felt guilty for taking breaks yet lacked the motivation and concentration to sit down and finish my work. Seeing as others around me were either also dealing with this issue or taking on even more extracurriculars and more difficult courses, I thought this was normal and refused to accept the feeling. It was almost as if I didn’t have a right to be as stressed as I was. What I initially thought was a bad day or two, quickly grew into something much bigger, and I came to the realization that I was burnt out.

The Three Albums That got me Through High School
Twin Fantasy (Mirror To Mirror) was my favourite album during the lockdowns in 2021. Its bedroom-quality recording, boyish vocals, and melodramatic hooks made it a perfect outlet for my teenage angst. The instrumentals are off the cuff and raw. They sound like Car Seat Headrest took chart-topping rock riffs and played them through a blender. It’s messy, it’s chaotic, and it’s a perfect backdrop for its eclectic songwriting.
