Every four years, soccer lovers from across the globe congregate to witness the biggest soccer event, the World Cup. Considered by most people to be the most popular and prestigious tournament in the world, the World Cup is a competition that determines which of the participating 32 countries is the greatest. In 2022, the World Cup is being held in Qatar, but there has been a decline in the number of eager fans willing to attend. So, what exactly has provoked countless crazed soccer fans to boycott the World Cup?

On October 28, 2021 Facebook rebranded itself as Meta. Mark Zuckerberg, co-founder and CEO of Facebook, made this decision to rebrand the company as he believes this name encompasses his vision of the metaverse. According to Zuckerberg, Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram will still keep their names; however, the company that will create and maintain these platforms will now be known as Meta.

The wackiest year has finally come to an end. From a global pandemic to worldwide protests for Black Lives Matter, 2020 has certainly made a name for itself. This 37-month year was packed with events that you may have already forgotten about, so let’s take a look at some of the most significant ones.
