JHHS welcomes students from other countries who wish to spend a semester or a year in the United States and attend the high school. We do not grant a high school diploma to foreign exchange students. All exchange agencies must adhere to the standards set forth by CSIET. Foreign exchange student admittance from approved partner agencies is subject to school administration approval.
JHHS students interested in studying abroad should consult with their school counselor and administration to discuss the impact of studying abroad on four-year graduation progress. Students must attend an accredited school, and provide official documentation (transcript) from the student's host school. Students who study abroad may need to take summer courses through Alternate Course Delivery in order to stay on track for graduation.
