"Apples dipped in honey for Rosh Hashanah" 🍯🍎 The children decorated some holiday themed hanging art. This was a multistep actvity which included coloring an apple red with markers, gluing down red pearls for the pomegranate and using tissue paper to cover the shofar. Using different textures and mediums to complete the art work. We read "Apples Days" (Rosh Hashanah Story) . The story is about a little girl named Katy who loves Rosh Hashanah and applesauce but her mom can't help prepare the applesauce because she is helping her baby cousin. Ask your kiddo how the story ended! What a wonderful heart warming holiday book.
Thank you guys for coming out !! What a wonderful back to school night.
Next week: We will be exploring the Holiday of Yom Kippur, what it means and how can we lean into it.
