Hello Ananim Families!
This week we our kiddos dived in deep with pour specialist and started with Teacher Michal! As she taught new hebrew words like shemesh = sun and good morning =bokertov we practiced by also using images to easily access the language to an image to help! The kiddos had a lot of fun finishing up their puffy paint clouds this week and having them up on the board with their FAMILY picture on them. Music with Teacher Mellow had all of our kiddos engaged and excited to participate the gift of music. She shared scarfs and some cool tunes to kick off the start of music! We also had our friend visit Mr. Freddy! He is a friendly bee puppet who has introduced Rosh Hashana to the kiddos as this holiday approaches us!
We also would like to give a very big thanks to our Shabbat Star Ruby and her loved ones for joing us in our first Superstar of the year! We hope you have a cool weekend and we cant wait to dive right into art and some fun with your kiddos next week!! :)
Warmly,
Teacher Hennesy & Teacher Vanessa

To make your child's day special, each teacher will do a little something to make him/her feel all the birthday acknowledgments i.e, read a book, make a crown and/or a special leadership opportunity. As Shabbat takes precedence, we will NOT celebrate birthdays on Fridays. Please email your classroom teacher to determine the appropriate birthday plan and possible treat item (either one, food or nonfood) for your child’s special day. While we encourage nonfood items (ex. stickers, box of crayons, donate books to the classroom), if you feel so inclined to send a food item, this needs to be individually wrapped. Be sure to ask your child’s teacher if anyone in the class has a food allergy. We ask that you NOT cubby birthday party invitations or birthday party thank you notes.
