My Business challenge didn't go well. I think this was because I didn't enjoy it very much and my group didn't get along as well as I'd hope. This was because Lewis was away for the second and third day of it. Carter was the new CEO and he didn't do a very good job of assigning roles. He also didn't encourage others that much.
The Business Challenge Inquiry was really useful as it taught me how to manage finances, which is going to be very useful once I go into the workforce as an adult.
.
One of my goals was to collaborate and work together with the rest of my group. By working on this goal it helped me to improve my learning because it taught me how to work with people who don't get along with each other very well.
The goal I did the best with was becoming more confident. The reason it went so well was because each of the five presentations made me more comfortable presenting.
I was a bit frustrated with how one goal went because I wasn't very independent. I felt I had to ask teachers for help a lot through the challenge.
Next time I will try and figure things out by researching on my own. this will help me because it teaches me how to research and figure out problems with less hassle.
Evidence of Term 2 goals being met.
Copy and paste all relevant evidence in the form of screenshots or written explanations of what was done to achieve your 4 goals for Term 2.
e.g. Test results, teacher feedback, parent feedback, peer feedback, your own explantion of things you did etc.
I didn't develop much independence this inquiry, but over the term, I was only going to teachers for problems I couldn't solve myself and I felt myself becoming more independent.
The business challenge helped me collaborate a lot, especially with people I didn't know very well or was meeting for the first time.
The business challenge helped me become more confident and less nervous presenting, as I got more comfortable through all five presentations.
I involved my mum in helping me once I got home in the business challenge. This helped me achieve my fourth goal.
