Reflection # 2
Pest Inquiry
Reflect on how you went during your inquiry. What did you learn?
Explain how you worked toward your goals and how it helped your learning. What worked? What didn’t? What will you do differently next time? How did you improve from the last inquiry?
Write your reflection here...
My second Inquiry went worse than my first inquiry. I think this was because there was a lack of information and I didn't contact enough experts. I think I didn't do as well as I could have.
The Pest Inquiry was really useful as it taught me all about ferrets, and even though they are very cute, they shouldn't be underestimated.
How do I feel about Inquiry now that I’ve spent 10 weeks in it? Well I have to say it's pretty fun and it teaches me about things I want to learn about, and in the way I like to learn.
One of my goals was to not give up when it gets tough. By working on this goal it helped me to improve my learning because it taught me that sometimes it does get hard, and you want to quit, but you shouldn't and you should keep going.
The goal I did the best with was never giving up. The reason it went so well was because this pest Inquiry taught me how to never give up and be resilient.
I was a bit frustrated with how one goal went because I didn't gain any confidence, and I burnt myself out as I was sick, halting my gain of confidence.
Next time I will pace my work. This will help me because I won't get burnt out.
