My first Inquiry went well. I think this was because I asked around my family and I did a lot of research. I also made my timetable clear so I know what to do each day.
The Ancestry Inquiry was really useful as it taught me the skills of asking around. I was really shy, but just starting with my family as safe people helped me.
How do I feel about Inquiry now that I’ve spent 5 weeks in it? Well I have to say it's different to what I've done before. The closest thing was Future Problem Solving in Intermediate which we followed a similar structure.
One of my goals was to ask around. By working on this goal it helped me to improve my learning because it taught me social skills, and public speaking to everyone, not just my family.
The goal I did the best with was public speaking. The reason it went so well was because my class was really supportive of me. They all understood that it's hard for some people.
I was a bit frustrated with how one goal went because I felt like I wasn't getting anywhere with my research.
Next time I won't give up and I'll try a different type of research. this will help me because I grow in expanding my research capabilities.

I was very resilient as some of the information on my ancestor was very hard to find.
I asked a lot of critical questions, even questions to myself. I feel very proud of the work I have done.
I have began to think of things I may not have liked, such as Spanish or HPE in a different light, being a bit more positive about them.
I thought of TBC as a tradition, even maybe more than a school. I have respected TBC a lot more than have my other schools.
