#LoveTaupo - TWa

The Love Taupo programme has engaged students in the local tourism activities and looked at the unique landscape and opportunities our area has to offer.  Students worked collaboratively to plan their own weekend escape to the Taupo area having to consider transport, accommodation, food and entertainment whilst working to a budget. Each group presented their itinerary to the class. Students brainstormed possible activities and attractions that could work in Taupo and designed a brochure to market them. For each excursion students had worksheets to complete and wrote reflections on their experience. All of their work has been recorded on a google site which students designed and formatted themselves.
