Test sessions that are completed, locked but not submitted in grades 3-8 do not need to be unlocked for submittal. DRC will submit all these sessions once testing is complete. (A&A Office Hours FAQ 4.30.24)
Test sessions that are completed, locked but not submitted in LEAP 2025 high school do need to be unlocked for submittal. Test sessions that are not submitted will cause a delay in scoring until early summer. (A&A Office Hours FAQ 4.30.24)
Test administrators should remain vigilant of cell phones in the testing environment. Cell phones found in use in the testing room must be confiscated and searched for secure testing content. (A&A Office Hours FAQ 4.30.24)
No more than three sessions in one day. (Grades-3-8-computer-based-test-scheduling-guidance)

Test sessions for a single subject must be given in order. For makeup testing only, a student can return and join other students for a testing session before being administered sessions that were administered on a day when the student was not in attendance. Requests for rescore must be submitted to DRC no later than June 19. The rescore form is on page 21 of the LEAP high school TCM. (A&A Office Hours FAQ 4.30.24)

There is no waiver or exemption in place for assessment requirements. The BESE policy was ended by Governor Landry by executive order. (A&A Office Hours FAQ 4.30.24)
Civics and U.S. History Assessment Participation Reminder
All students enrolled in a Civics class must take the Civics assessment. Their graduation requirement has no effect on this rule.
Scores will not be reported for fall and spring administrations until August after BESE approves cut scores.
Scores will be used in the 2025 SPS and DPS.
All students who are enrolled in a U.S. History class, and who do not have a prior year score to be included in the final grade, must take the U.S. History assessment. Their graduation requirement has no effect on this rule.
When preparing computers or Chomebooks for testing please complete the system readiness check. Students should do this check before starting any testing session.
On a Chromebook if you get an orange check mark for OS (Operating System) that means the Chrome Browser needs to be updated. Directions for that can be found under Google >> Apps for Education >> Chrome.
If you get a red check mark for Screen Resolution follow the directions below to reset the resolution to default.
If you get a red check mark for Service Device Connection contact the technology department.
