Assessment DUration

Teachers can now see the amount of time a student spends on an assessment even if the timer hasn't been turned on.

To do this:

Navigate to Classroom, click on the Assignments tab, locate the class, and click directly on the assessment
Click the plus button next to the desired student to expand the student

Here you will see the date and time the assessment was opened as well as the total amount of time spent on the assessment. The time reflects the total number of minutes and seconds the assessment was open. If there were multiple sessions for the same assessment, the session times will be added together to reflect one overall duration. The assessment duration is also displayed in the Assignment Grader.

OnCourse: Reopen an Assessment for students to complete

Reopen Assessment in OnCourse

As the teacher you are in full control of the assessments scheduled by the district. Below are the steps to "Reopen" an Assessment that was not finished by a student. This will allow them to login to the Testing Center and finish the assessment.

Click on Assessment
Click on "Testing Center"
Choose your "Class" and "Assessment"
Check the student who needs an assessment reopened
Click "Actions"
Click "Assessment"
Click "Reopen Assessment"
