Redesign Your Lessons Using Google Drawings

http://bit.ly/2WHGmLq

Google Drawings can be more than just a canvas to create artwork. Drawings can help augment, modify, and redefine the lessons you already have in place! When thinking of the SAMR Model, our goal for using technology should not just be to substitute our lessons, but should also be to transform and redefine our lessons. This is not to say that modification and redifinition is all you should shoot for because there is a place and time for substitution and modification. But, if you are looking to redesign your lessons in a way that can engage students, then Google Drawings is a great place to start!

This model image was created using Google Drawings and the "Insert Diagram" feature.

Check out my Slides tutorial below that offers up multiple lesson ideas/samples that you can copy and make your own. In addition, I have provided tips and tricks to using Google Drawings.

Below is a sample of an interactive timeline created using Google Drawings. You will note various linked images and text as you hover over certain icons and images. As a lesson, have students create and share their own interactive timelines based off of your own content area.
