With access to technology, students have the opportunity to use the internet as platform to get their voice heard. It can open up their audience beyond just the teacher or their peers and can lead to their best work knowing they are writing and publishing for the world to see. Google Slides can be used and set up in a way that mimicks a digital book where when viewed on a tablet or smart phone the reader can simply swipe left to "turn the pages," but at the same time can be viewed on any web enabled device. Students can add illustrations and can even create a narrated recording of the entire book, or can offer up a clickable icon that can be inserted on each page for readers to click to have that page narrated to them. Check out the full slide show below to learn more on creating a Digital Book with Google Slides!
