Flight time: 20 hours
This lab is very heavy on ground lessons. You will create CFI lesson plans for each subject under the PTS. It is recommended that you have roughly 80 hours of ground lesson time by the time you go to checkride.
Rotor Wing
Rotor Wing
Flight time: 15 hours
Consists of flying from the instructors (left) seat, teaching maneuvers, and guarding controls against improper inputs. Most of the lab is focused on teaching and shadowing ground instruction and the fundamentals of instruction.
