TOUCH RUGBY IS OFFICIALLY COMING TO SUNVALLEY PRIMARY SCHOOL! 

Dates and times for our Firebirds Academy lessons:

Wednesdays:

Grade 2-7: 14:30 - 15:30

Fridays:

Grade 2-7: 13:15 - 14:15

Cost:

R1000 for term 4

Includes 9 hours of coaching over 9 sessions between 27 October and 5 December 2025.

Payment options: 

Upfront (payable in advance): R900 (discounted by 10%). sessions between 27 October and 5 December 2025.

Overview of the sport from The Touch Lab:

Touch is a fast-growing, inclusive sport both here in South Africa and internationally. For the first time, the South African Touch Association (SATA) has introduced divisions for U11, and U13 boys and girls to participate in the national Interprovincial Tournament – creating a pathway for young players to enjoy competition in this fun, fast-paced, and highly skilful game. 

Unlike traditional rugby, Touch Rugby is low-contact, with no tackling involved, making it accessible to children of all shapes, sizes, and abilities. 

If your child is interested in continuing their Touch Rugby journey, I would encourage you to register for our Term 4 Touch Rugby program at the school or attend one of our upcoming clinics if you’re still undecided.
