SURFING ACADEMY

We are pleased to welcome Firebirds Surfing through Top-Turn Surf School.

As this is a new offering for Sun Valley Schools, we invite interested students to join us for one free lesson to experience how fun surfing can be.

Top Turn Surf School offers personalised surf lessons led by expert instructors. They work with complete beginners wanting to learn to surf, as well as young surfers looking to improve their skills.

What We Offer

Small groups: maximum 3 kids per instructor (Students are grouped by skill level).

Safety first: we ensure every child is comfortable and confident in the water.

Lessons take place in suitable, child-friendly surf conditions.

SVPS Sport Summer Sport in Term 1 2026 runs from 19 January - 13 March.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Venue

Muizenberg Beach, condition depending. These sessions will continue regardless of the weather unless deemed unsafe by Top-Turn Surf School.

Transport

A WhatsApp group will be created for parents to help arrange lifts to and from Muizenberg.

Equipment

Surfboard and wetsuit rentals are available directly from LifeStyle at discounted rates:

R100 per surfboard
R75 per wetsuit

Payments
