Firebirds netball academy

With over a decade of dedication to netball, Amber Knowles brings a wealth of experience and passion to the court. Her journey began in high school as a key player for the Fish Hoek 1st Team as well as South Side Netball squad, where she not only honed her skills but also discovered her talent for coaching and umpiring at the young age of 16.

Netball has been more than just a sport for Amber; it has been a life-shaping experience that instilled in her the values of determination, strength, and teamwork. These are the same principles she now imparts to her players, aiming to cultivate not only skilled athletes but also a genuine love for the game.

Currently, Amber is also a GAP student teacher at Sun Valley Primary, where she combines her passion for teaching with her love for netball. This unique position allows her to connect with students on multiple levels, providing mentorship both in the classroom and on the court.

Amber's goal is to foster an environment where young athletes not only learn the technical skills of netball but also develop a deep-seated passion for the sport, empowering them to achieve their full potential both on and off the court.
