Rama HariĀ
Rama Hari was performed on October 5, 2024, at 7:00 PM and organized by the Cultural Affairs Committee (CAC). This cultural event showcased a musical adaptation of the Indian epic Ramayana, highlighting themes of love, duty, and valor. As part of the audience, I immersed myself in the performances and admired the creativity of the artists.
This activity deepened my appreciation for performing arts and their ability to convey profound cultural and moral values. Initially, I expected a simple play, but the vibrant choreography, music, and costumes surprised me. One performer, portraying the character of Rama, exuded a commanding presence that left a strong impression. The most fulfilling part was witnessing the integration of Filipino artistry in the production.
The event reinforced my appreciation for cross-cultural storytelling and artistic expression. I plan to attend more productions by CAC and explore how such performances can inspire creativity in my own endeavors. If I could revisit this event, I would volunteer to assist in stage management to contribute more actively.
Because of this activity, I am more inspired to appreciate and support cultural initiatives.
