Movie Night

Movie Night (August 22, 2024)

The Movie Night was held on August 22, 2024, at 7:00 PM, organized by the CCS. It provided a space for relaxation and bonding among students through the screening of a popular film. As a working committee member, I assisted with setting up the venue and managing the audience. I decided to put this here since it helps people who don't/can't go to a movie theater to watch a movie. Since it costs way less than P50 anyway.

This activity emphasized the importance of creating opportunities for leisure and connection. Initially, I expected a casual movie night, but the enthusiasm and engagement of the attendees surprised me. One participant’s feedback about feeling more connected to their peers left a lasting impression. The most rewarding part was seeing the audience’s enjoyment and interaction.

This experience encouraged me to value the role of recreation in fostering well-being and relationships. I plan to organize similar events that combine entertainment and community-building. If I could improve this event, I would include interactive activities like trivia games related to the movie.

Because of this activity, I am more mindful of the need for balance between work and leisure.
