This piece is my entry for the "doodle for google" contest. This years theme was showing kindness and incorporating kindness in our design of the google logo. I put bees and a honeycomb design on the G to remind people to save the bees and to serve as an example for good teamwork. The bees all work together to protect their hive, which is how we should work together to protect the earth, as seen in the letter O. The second O features two notorious enemies snuggling together harmoniously to remind people to set aside their differences. The G, the L and the E are being rained on and the L is an umbrella being held by the E to shelter the G.

I used Sharpie permanent marker to illustrate this piece. I used gel milk pens to add embellishments to the raindrops and the Earth.

If I were to change anything about this piece it would be the rain clouds. I wish I would have used watercolor to make more realistic rain clouds with some color. I would also add raindrops to the bottom half of the G, L, and the E, or given the G and the E little rainboots.
