This piece is a minimalist poster proposal I made to help bring awareness to organ and tissue donation. It features the lungs, heart, liver, stomach, kidneys, small intestine and the large intestine next to a recycle symbol to emphasize the reusability of these vital organs.

To make this piece I cut various colored tissue papers into the shape of organs and glued them to stock paper. It was very difficult and time consuming as the tissue paper is very easy to tear and difficult to manipulate without wrinkling or creasing it.

If I were to redo this poster I would completely change the font and size of the lettering. I would make the organs larger to help fill the negative space. I would also consider making the recycle symbol more integrated with the organs so it looks less awkward.
