Mixed Media Drawing

The picture that I chose to draw was a picture of my friend Brady. I'm not really trying to say anything with this piece besides that I think that he looks funny. I'm also trying to show that his face is very simple to draw.

The materials that I used for this were charcoal, ink, and graphite on pastel paper.

Most of the mental difficulty in this was choosing a picture. I have a lot of funny pictures of my friends so I wasn't sure which one I should choose. I settled on this one because I think that his face is a very simple drawing. There also wasn't much background stuff because he was pointing at the ceiling. Another difficulty was that his braces kind of started to disappear when editing the photo so I had to change it a bunch.
