Graphite Self Portrait

Self-Portrait

11" x 14"

Graphite on Pastel Paper

This piece is just a drawing of me. There's not really an idea behind it besides that it kinda looks like me. I'm not trying to say anything or show anything besides that it's a drawing of me.

I used graphite on photocopy paper.

While I was making this it took me a few tries to decide on what picture to use. After I chose the picture I decided that it would be funny if I shaved so that the self-portrait only kind of looked like me. I also sometimes would have trouble when I was drawing because I would forget that I was supposed to erase the lines on the grid so then I would have to do that.
