Colored Pencil

The main idea behind this is that I think that flags are cool. I looked at a few flags and I chose the things that I liked the most about them. I was thinking about making this flag for a made up nation but I decided not to.

For this I used half good colored pencils and half bad colored pencils. You can see where it switched from good to bad. I had to use the ones that I had from the dollar store because those are the only ones that I had. I also used printmaking paper.

A lot of the design for this flag was spent looking at other flags. I like the way that a lot of flags have stars on them. It was originally going to just be two colors, but I was watching a video about Belarus invading Ukraine and poland came up. I decided that I liked the way that half of their flag was blank, so I decided to do that.
