“Silly Spaceship”, By Ian Moore

This image is a picture of my artwork for the first day of school, we played a game where each person took two cards from a pile and had to draw what the text on the back said, I happened to choose to draw a “Silly Spaceship”, I tried to make it look like the spaceship was flying through space and you were looking at it from a moon-like planet. This image doesn't really relate to my life but I did like the style of the artwork and I like to work with pencils and colored pencils more than markers and paint.
The materials that I used were a black sharpie, a normal number 2 pencil, and many different colors of colored pencils, I put a lot of grit sweat and hard work into this and gave my best effort, I even let my little sister color a little bit of the background.
To create this artwork I fist outlined the major parts like the spaceship and planets with a pencil after I went over all of these lines in a Black sharpie, then I finished it off by coloring everything in with colored pencils. To make this better I might try to make more shadowing to give more depth than just a normal still image of a spaceship.
