Tonal square.

Tonal square.

Size: 4.25in by 4.25in

This is my tonal square.

For this we all got a part of a smaller image, the had to enlarge it and try to make it look the same, at the end they should all eventually go together like a puzzle and make a large image of something. The reason that I made this was that my teacher made me, but I think it was also very fun to make and it looks funny put together. The materials that I used for this project were many different shading pencils, and a piece of paper.

The first thing I did while making this was looking at the smaller piece of paper and thinking of what I was going to do and how I was going to start. Then I made some light sketches to make the outlines of the different shadows, then I started to layer the shadows and darken them. After I had done that I thought I was done and turned it in.
