Description

For this project we were to pick a previous project we had worked on and try to change it and make it better. My partner and I decided to redo the solve a world problem project. For the solve a world problem project the first time I didn't get my first choice on what I wanted to research but now I get to do what I really care about. I know that plastic is a big problem that affects the entire world. So my partner and I brainstormed solutions that can help decline plastic pollution. Plastic is non-bio degradable so our solution was to make plastic into something you can use daily.

We first had to spend a while researching articles related to our topic. We found many facts and data to include in our slideshow. My partner and I helped each work on the slides and made sure to research articles that were valid. For our project we decided to hold beach cleanups to collect plastic that is harming the nature around us. Once we collect the plastic our idea was to use the plastic water bottles and turn them into seats. The rest of the plastic would be turned into decorative comforters we would weave together. The good thing about the seats is they are reasonably cheap and they use a lot of plastic to make one.
