The paper we used to calculate everything
V=√Gm/r Orbital Velocity
V=2𝛑r/T Orbital Velocity
r=rp+alt Orbital Radius
PEg=mgh Potential energy
KE= ½ mv^2 Kinetic Energy
T=2𝛑r/v Time
Wtot=KE+PEg Total work
This project lasted 2 weeks. The goal of this project was to look back at past projects and to do it better. My group decided to do intergalactic planetary. We started brainstorming what we could do. We later picked to send a rocket to space into Mars orbit. We found how many times it would complete full orbit and the amount to work the rockets needed to use in order to get the satellite there.
This unit was really fun because we had a lot of freedom. This unit really pushed me to be a leader and to be more organized. An example of me needing to be more organized was when we started the unit. For the first day we didn't do anything because we were brain storming and at the start of the next day we were still at the same spot as yesterday. As soon as we picked something I started researching and planned my week so we would finish in time and do well. An example of me being more of a leader was when I asked the teacher for help and then I directed my group member to a certain task so we can catch up to everyone else. Some things I think I did really well in was to stay on task and focus on one thing at a time. Another thing I can name is asking for help when needed. I this project I wasn't scared to ask for help right way when I didn't understand.
