Graphs
This graph is here to show where the car was during each second of time to get a better understanding.
This graph is here to show all the points where the car was having the most/lowest velocity during the time it took to make it to 5 meters
This graph is here to show all the spots where the car was accelerating and where it would stop
This graph shows all the different energies that the car used
The goal of this project was to make a car that would go exactly 5 meters( About 16 ft). The process was really short, It only took us about 3 days max to finish the car. The car used to go 5 meters and then roll back which was really annoying but in the end we fixed the problem. The first day was really just getting the material and getting ready to assemble everything. On day 2 we started to cut a few things that needed to be cut and find out what we really wanted the car to look like. On day 3 we started assembling everything. On day 4 we finished building the car and started testing it.
Spring Potential Energy - Energy stored in the stretch or compression of an object
Gravitational Potential Energy - Energy an object has due to it's position at a height or in a gravitational field
Kinetic Energy - Energy due to motion
Total Energy - The total amount of all energies
Thermal Energy - Energy lost to heat
Rotational Inertia - A property of any object which can be rotated
I think well with my group considering this being the 4th project of the year. Some things I learned about myself is that I like to stay in my comfort zone which in some cases are good but it was bad in this case because I feel like I can't really help with things that I am not good at. Another thing I learned about myself is I respond well to thorough communication because when I have asked for help from teachers and classmates and they communicate well I feel like I can do it on my own without help in the future.
For my next project I want to focus more on helping one another because I feel like we split the work so I only got to learn some parts of the project. I felt like I didn't get the full photo of the project because of splitting up. One thing I want to improve on for my next project is trying to be more apart of the calculations because I felt like I could do it but I did have some doubts on my abilities
