Project Description
For this project, my group and I were assigned to design a comfortable and productive space for the students and staff of San Marin. We were given the freedom to design any type of bench or table that we belive would be comfortable for anyone who wants to sit or work there. My group decided to make a whole new design of a bench that has never really been seen before. We created blue prints, 3D models and models online.
What space we were given?
This is the space that we were given to work with. The idea was to but our benches/tabels into a space or area that people often use. Our group talked about putting our bench in a spot where the sun was always shinning and an area that people often walk by so that students and stuff notice our new bench.
Our Design
This was our basic design of our bench. We made our bench the most comfortable that it could be. Our bench has places where you can sit and have back support but it also has places where you can sit without back support if you would rather that. Our bench is also double sided to fit the most amount of people possible

Price
Lastly, we were told to find the total price of our benches. Our bench in total costs $635.18. That is the price for one bench. Our group decided to only make one bench because our bench is very large and we did not feel the need to make a second one.
Reflection
Overall, I thought this was a very good project. I enjoyed this project because we got to be very creative when it actually came to making our designs. I got to learn more about how to actually put together peices of furniture, whether it was wear to put the nails or how long and thick each peice of wood needed to be. It was a super fun project because there was no limit about how creative we could be when it came to making the benches/tables or whatever your group decided to make.
Something that I did well during this project was sharing my ideas about our designs and giving my opinions to my group members when needed. My group and I worked very well together which made this project super easy to accomplish for us. One thing that I would fix next time if I got to do this project over again would be to get this project done early so that my group and I did not have to stressout about getting things done last minute.
