• What are you passionate about, and how could you apply your passions to a possible Capstone project?

I am passionate about sports, hunting, and boating. I could apply these to my capstone project, boating; a problem is always the rope getting caught up and knotted around the boat. I could create something like reels in the rope, like a fishing line, when the skier falls and isn't holding onto the rope anymore. 

• What are you good at/like to do? What are you skilled at?

I like to go out on the water and go out on the boat. I am skilled at softball, soccer, wakeboarding, and wake surfing. 

• Which new skills would you like to research and practice as you work on your Capstone?

I want to research wake surfing and wakeboarding and its problems as I work on my Capstone project. 

• How do you hope to apply your skills and passions in the Capstone?

      I plan to apply these skills and passions to the Capstone project by creating something that works better for one of these passions. For example, when it comes to wakeboarding and wake surfing, a considerable safety issue is the rope getting tied up in the prop or around someone's body part. I could create a device to keep the rope out of the way for everyone and make boating safer.
