Reflection

Over the process of writing this essay, I constantly found more and more reason to write about why the use of Native American mascots are racist and disrespectful. This essay made me realize that sometimes things we often find entertaining can also be very rude to other people at the same time. Sometimes we don't realize that our everyday things can be offensive towards other people. I have shown growth towards one of the 6 C's. I have shown growth towards Culturally Competent. I have shown growth towards this because I searched and found different peoples views about these problems and then explained how I then felt about them.
