Library Volunteers

LPCI  Library Volunteer Application Form - Pick up in the library.

Welcome to the Lawrence Park Library! We anticipate an amazing year in the library, with great books, electronic resources, an improved website and a new team of volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering in a vibrant, fast-paced environment, the LPCI Library is the place for you. Your contribution will help to make this place a welcoming and supportive environment for students to work and will support the job of our teacher-librarians.  If this sounds appealing please don’t hesitate to apply to be on our library team! 

Volunteers:

• Check books in and out to students

• Put books back on the shelf in order and keep the shelves in order

• Help get new books ready for students to use

• Create displays

• Help with book lists for classes

• Help with computers

• Help promote the library to students

If you would like to be considered as a library volunteer then please pick up and return the application form. New volunteers will need to complete training and orientation, after which we will set up a volunteer timetable and you can begin to accrue volunteer hours.
